Crl.M.C. 4625/2016 Considering the fact that offences alleged against the petitioner include offence punishable under Section 27 of the Arms Act, which entails minimum punishment, FIR in question i.e. FIR No.400/2008 under Sections 323/341/336/34 IPC read with Section 27 and 30 of Arms Act registered at PS Shakarpur cannot be quashed in view of the decision of the Supreme Court reported as 2012(9) Scale 257: 2012 (10) SCC 303 Gian Singh Vs. State of Punjab & Anr.

Petition is dismissed.
