On the last date of hearing, i.e., 30.09.2024 this Court had passed following directions:

"2. Learned Counsel for the Respondents draws the attention of the Court to order dated 22.09.2023, when the Petitioner had sought time to take instructions in view of the order that was passed on that date. He submits that one year has lapsed after the passing of the said order but instructions have not yet been taken.

3. Learned Counsel for the Respondents also draws the attention of the Court to Annexure A-4 appended along with present Petition to submit that in any event, the present Petition has become infructuous since the date of the retirement of the Petitioner was 31.07.2024 which has already gone by."

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner does not dispute the fact that the Petitioner retired on 31.06.2024.

"a. Direct the Respondents to adopt the Office Memorandum dated 28.02.2014 in its true letter and spirit and make the entire allotment procedure, paperless and online.

b. Direct the Respondent No 2 to disclose on affidavit on the Type IV quarters lying vacant more particularly in Greater Kailash as well as other areas in Delhi where there are Type IV flats. c. Cancel the allotment of quarter no. 38 at Greater Kailash, allotted in favour of Dr. Ankita Chakravarty as the same has been done without Dr. Ankita Chakravarty participating in the allotment process; also cancel all other allotments made by the Respondents where the Applicants have not participated in the bidding process.

d. Permit only the applicants as notified in the Unified Waiting List dated 9.11.2016 in the next bidding dated 5.12.2016.", 3.1 As can be seen from the above, the issue in the present Petition was with respect to allotment of residential accommodation in view of the fact that the Petitioner was an employee of the Government of NCT of Delhi. 4.

As stated above, both parties agree that the Petitioner has since superannuated from her service with Government of NCT of Delhi. 5.

In view of the above, the relief as is sought for cannot be granted to the Petitioner.

The Petition is accordingly dismissed. All pending Applications stand closed.

At the request of the learned Counsel for the Petitioner, it is clarified that this Court has not undertaken an examination of Office Memorandum No. F4(Upgrad)/Policy/GK/PWD/2022/187-204 dated 04.01.2023 issued by Public Works Department Secretariat.
