W.P.(CRL) 3508/2016 On the complaint of respondent no.2, present FIR No.560/2013 under Sections 323/341/506/34 IPC was registered at police station Rajouri Garden against the petitioners. Respondent no.2 and petitioners have settled their disputes amicably vide Memorandum of Settlement dated 22nd August, 2016. Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by SI

Gurcharan Singh Gill PS Rajouri Garden. Respondent no.2 submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioners of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure and coercion.

Learned Additional Standing Counsel submits that another victim Aditya Sirohi has not been named in the FIR. However, he has been referred in the FIR as cousin of respondent no.2. Mr. Aditya Sirohi is present in Court and he is also a party to Memorandum of Settlement.

He also submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioners of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure and coercion. Respondent no.2 and Aditya Sirohi submit that they do not wish to pursue the FIR any further in view of the settlement. Keeping in mind the fact that the parties have settled their disputes amicably during pendency of investigation and keeping in mind the nature of offences, in the interest of justice, FIR No.560/2013 under Sections 323/341/506/34 IPC registered at police station Rajouri Garden, is quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
