The learned counsel for the respondent says that he does not wish to file a reply as the parties have arrived at a settlement. 2.
The learned counsel for the parties are agreed that the petition can be disposed of, based on the following agreed terms :- (i).
That the respondent will pay, towards full and final settlement, a sum of Rs.8.70 Lakhs, in the manner given below :- (a).
Rs.7 Lakh will be paid, within one month from today. (b).
The balance sum of Rs.1.70 Lakhs will be paid within six weeks thereafter.

The aforementioned amounts will be paid in US Dollars, subject to requisite permissions being obtained from the RBI and other concerned authorities under applicable provisions of law. In case permission is not obtained, the respondent will pay the amounts, as indicated above, to the petitioner, in INR.

A copy of the order has been signed by the learned counsel for the parties and the authorised representative of the respondent in affirmation of the terms set out above.
