Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no. 1. Respondent no.2 Parveen Kumar @ Pravesh is present in Court along with his counsel and accepts notice.

He has been identified by SI Ashish of police station Bhajanpura.

It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 are neighbours. A quarrel took place between petitioners and respondent no.2 on some trivial issue which led to registration of FIR No. 627/2017 under Sections 323/341/506/34 IPC at police station Bhajanpura on the complaint of respondent no.2 against the petitioners.

It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 have now settled their disputes amicably before Delhi Mediation Centre, Karkardooma Courts, Delhi on 26th March, 2018, therefore, aforesaid

FIR may be quashed.

Respondent no.2 submits that he has settled the matter with the petitioners of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and has no objection in case the aforesaid FIR is quashed against the petitioners.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
