O R D E R

% 21.12.2016 On the complaint of respondent no. 2, present FIR No. 318/2016 under Sections 341/354/506/509 IPC was registered at Police Station Punjabi Bagh against the petitioner.

Petitioner and respondent no. 2 are living in the neighbouring localities.

It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi on 9th May, 2016 vide Settlement Agreement (Annexure P-2).

Respondent no. 2 is present in Court and admits having settled the matter with petitioner. She submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further, in view of the settlement.

Keeping in mind the totality of facts and circumstances of the case, more particularly that petitioner and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes before the Mediation Centre, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 318/2016 under Sections 341/354/506/509 IPC registered at Police Station Punjabi Bagh and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
