CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SIDDHARTH MRIDUL HON'BLE MS. JUSTICE DEEPA SHARMA

% 22.11.2017 Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the appellant states that they would be satisfied if the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is directed to pay minimum wages to her from the date of the appointment, if not already paid.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent fairly concedes that the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India are bound in law to disburse minimum wages to every employee, including the appellant. In this view of the matter, the appeal is disposed of with a direction to the respondent/Institute of Chartered Accountants of India to pay to the appellant, if not already paid, the minimum wages calculated at the appropriate rates declared by the Delhi Administration from time to time, in accordance with law and continue to pay the same during the appellant's employment.

LPA 692/2016

Pending application also stands disposed of.
