O R D E R

% 13.12.2017 Respondent no.2-Ms. Alam Parveen is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Rakesh Kumar of police station Jafrabad. Respondent no.2 submits that she has settled the subject matter involved in the FIR with the petitioner no.1 of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion.

Petitioner no.1 has paid `1 lac to the respondent no.2 today in Court vide a demand draft, photocopy whereof has been placed on record.

Respondent no. 2 submits that she has already withdrawn all other proceedings initiated by her against the petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 8. Respondent no. 2 has no objection in case the FIR is quashed.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioner no.1 and respondent no.2 voluntarily, FIR No. 316/2011 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act registered at police station Jafrabad and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
