Pursuant to the parties being referred to the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre, they have arrived at a settlement reduced into writing by virtue of a Settlement Agreement dated 02.05.2019, whereunder the appellant has agreed to pay a sum of Rs.5,50,000/- to the respondent towards full and final settlement of her claims. The manner in which the said amount shall be paid in instalments, has been set out in para 8 of the Agreement.

Learned counsel for the parties state in unison that the appellant may be permitted to draw the pay order of the agreed instalments in the respondent's maiden name i.e. Naveen Kumari, as her bank account is maintained in the said name. Permission as prayed for, is granted. MAT.APP.(F.C.) 186/2016

The parties state that they shall file a joint application for dissolution of marriage before the learned Family court on or before 30.05.2019. The remaining terms and conditions have also been set down in the Settlement Agreement. Both the parties state that they have arrived at a settlement of their own free will and volition, without any undue influence or coercion. 4.
In view of the statement made hereinabove and having regard to the fact that the Settlement Agreement has been signed not only by the parties, but also by their respective counsel and the learned Mediator, there is no impediment in taking the same on record.

The parties shall remain bound by the terms and conditions of the Settlement Agreement. They are cautioned that any breach of the terms and conditions of the settlement will result in adverse consequences, as contemplated in law.
