By this petition the petitioners seek quashing of FIR No.479/1999 registered under Section 392/411/34 IPC registered at PS Sarita Vihar, Delhi on the complaint of respondent No.2 on the ground that the parties have settled the matter.

In view of the fact that Section 392 IPC is invoked the above noted FIR cannot be quashed on the ground that the parties have compromised the matter in view of the decision of the Supreme Court reported as 2012 (9) Scale 257: 2012 (10) SCC 303 Gian Singh Vs. State of Punjab & Anr. and CRL.M.C. 4609/2016

(2014) 6 SCC 466 Narinder Singh and Ors.vs. State of Punjab and Anr. 3.

Petition is dismissed.
