Application is disposed of.

W.P.(CRL) 3490/2016 Petitioners and respondent no.2 are studying in the same college. A quarrel took place between them wherein respondent no.2 alleged in the FIR that petitioners gave beatings to him resulting grievous injuries to the respondent no.2. Respondent no.2 and petitioners have settled their disputes vide compromise deed dated 5th November, 2016. Respondent no.2 is

present in Court and has been identified by SI Omveer Singh PS Nand Nagri. Respondent no.2 submits that he is not willing to pursue the FIR any further in view of the settlement.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are willing to help the traffic police in regulating the traffic voluntarily.

Keeping in mind the above facts and circumstances, FIR No.830/2016 under Sections 308/34 IPC registered at police station Nand Nagri, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed, subject to the petitioners rendering the service for welfare of society by helping the traffic police for one week. Petitioners shall report to SHO PS Nand Nagri on 14th December, 2016 at 10:30 am.
