O R D E R

% 29.01.2018 1) Substantive prayer made in the writ petition is as follows : "a) issue an appropriate writ, order and direction to the respondents to set aside the impugned order dated 26.04.2016 vide F.No.VIII/402/App-109/2014 and further direct the respondents to issue the passport to the petitioner in terms of order/judgment dated 11.12.2015 passed in LPA No.210/2015 tilted as "Union of India & Anr. Vs. Inderdeep Chumber" (Annexure - P9) and terms of order/judgment dated 08.01.2016 passed in W.P.(C)No.6254/2015, titled as "Amardip Singh vs. UOI & Ors." (Annexure - P10);"

2) Learned counsel for the respondents says that the prayer made and the issue raised in the present writ petition is covered by the judgment of the Division Bench of this court dated 12.01.2018, passed in batch of appeals, the lead appeal being LPA No.13/2016, titled: Union of India & Anr. vs. Satnam Singh.

3) Learned counsel for the respondents says that she cannot but say that in view of the decision of the Division Bench, this writ petition would have to be allowed.

3.1) It is ordered accordingly. The writ petition is allowed. The impugned order is set aside.

4) The writ petitioner would be issued a passport as expeditiously as possible, though, not later than within four weeks from today. 5) Dasti.
