CONT.CAS(C) 1325/2016 The present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 25th October, 2016 passed in WP(C) 7692/2016 whereby respondent no. 2-Delhi Police was directed to dispose of the petitioner's complaint dated 12th July, 2016 with regard to illegal and unauthorised construction at Khasra No. 21/8-4/16 Village Libaspur, Delhi in accordance with law within an outer limited of two weeks.

In the petition, it has been averred that the petitioner's complaint has not been disposed of till date. Today, learned counsel for the Delhi Police has handed over a status report in which it is stated that in pursuance to this Court's

order dated 25th October, 2016, the concerned municipal authority has been informed of the construction in question and has been asked to take requisite steps. It is further stated that the Junior Engineer, MCD, Civil Lines Zone was also shown the site on 08th December, 2016.

In view of the aforesaid status report, the present contempt petition is disposed of as satisfied.

However, if the petitioner has any grievance with regard to illegal construction, he is given liberty to file appropriate proceedings. MANMOHAN, J DECEMBER 20, 2016 NG
