% 24.03.2017 The present petition has been filed by the petitioners with the following prayers: - "In view of the above said facts and circumstances, it is most respectfully and humbly prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to:- i.

Issue of an appropriate writ, order or directions in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent no.2 to issue no-objection certificate to the effect that the land of the petitioners are not part of any acquisition proceedings under the Old Land Acquisition Act, 1894 and directing the respondent no.3 to register the sale deed after issuance of the said No-Objection Certificate.

Pass any further order / s that this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of

the present case."

Mr. Yeeshu Jain, learned counsel appearing for respondent nos. 1 and 2 has drawn my attention to Page 54 of the paper book which is a part of the reply dated 24th October, 2016 to RTI application given to Mr. B.D. Bhatt, attorney of petitioner No.2 wherein it has been stated that the service request slip no. 14322 of Village-Chattarpur is under examination and under process. Mr. Jain states that in view of the ensuing elections of the MCD on 23rd April, 2017, respondents cannot examine/process the case. He states after the elections, the case shall be processed and decision thereof shall be communicated to the Sub-Registrar within four weeks after 23rd April, 2017 and a copy thereof shall also be sent to the petitioners / attorneys. The statement is taken on record.

In view of the statement made by Mr.Jain, Mr. B.S. Mann, learned counsel for the petitioners state that nothing further survives in the present petition and the writ petition may be disposed of.
