% 04.10.2018 Having regard to the seriousness and gravity of the offences involved and their impact on the society at large, particularly when there are other victims who have also come up to the police for investigation with similar complaints against the same set of accused, such other complaints also being subject matter of further investigation, this is hardly a case for quashing on the basis of return of money to some of the victims. [see Parbatbhai Aahir alias Parbatbhai Bhimsinhbhai Karmur and Others v. State of Gujarat and Another, (2017) 9 SCC 641] At this stage, the learned counsel for the petitioner, on CRL.M.C. 5062/2018

instructions, submits that he may be permitted to withdraw the captioned petition.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn.
