CONT.CAS(C) 1346/2016 The present contempt petition has been filed alleging wilful disobedience of the order dated 08th September, 2016 passed in W.P.(C) No.6568/2016, whereby the Division Bench of this Court directed the respondent-Staff Selection Commission to treat the petitioner as an OBC candidate provided the petitioner on the basis of requisite certificates and documents is able to satisfy the respondentCommission that he belongs to an OBC community. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that in pursuance to the aforesaid order, petitioner went to the office of the respondent, but he was not allowed to meet any official. He further states that despite

making representation to the respondent on 26th September, 2016, no reply has been received till date.

Issue notice. Mr. Umesh Sharma, Advocate accepts notice for the respondent.

Keeping in view the limited controversy, this Court disposes of the present contempt petition with a direction to the Chairman, Staff Selection Commissioner to decide the petitioner's representation dated 26th September, 2016 within a period of six weeks. The reasoned order shall be communicated to the petitioner by registered post.
