% 12.11.2018 By these petitions accused (petitioners) have prayed for quashing of two cross FIRs details whereof are as under:-

1. FIRNo.23/2013 under sections 341/452/323/506/34 IPG registered at police station Dabri on the complaint of respondent no.2-Ravinder Sharma in Crl MC No.4887/2018 wherein Neeraj, Satbir Singh, Dhiraj Solanki, Smt Kamlesh, Sunil, Smt. Sunita and Smt. Prem are petitioners( accused); &

2. FIR No.90/2010 under section 324 IPG registered at police station Dabir on the complaint of respondent no.2Smt. Sunita in Grl MG No.4888/2018 wherein Ravinder Sharma is petitioner (accused).

It is submitted that Ravinder Sharma along with his family is living in a tenanted premises under the tenancy of Satbir Singh and the aforementioned cross FIRs are outcome of landlord-tenant disputes. It is further submitted that civil disputes were also pending between the parties, and pursuant to compromise arrived at between them before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Dwarka Courts, New Delhi on 11^*^ May, 2016 civil suit has been disposed of as withdrawn. Petitioners and private respondents have settled their disputes in the cross FIRs also vide separate Memorandum of Settlements.

Complainants Ravinder Sharma and Sunita (private respondents) are present in Court with their counsels. They submit that they have settled the matter with the accused, that is, petitioners, of their own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. They say that they have no objection in case aforesaid cross FIRs and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the concerned parties voluntarily, in my view, I am of the view that no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid cross FIRs and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petitions are disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti. .
