These are applications filed on behalf of the appellant, inter alia, praying for suspension of sentence.

The status report has been filed, which indicates that the medical condition of the appellant is serious. Considering the medical condition of the appellant, this Court had suspended the sentence on an interim basis by an order dated 02.11.2018. This was extended by an order dated 01.02.2019 for a further period of three months on the same terms and conditions, as imposed by this Court by the order dated 02.11.2018. 3.

There is no improvement in the condition of the petitioner and, therefore, by an order dated 01.05.2019, the interim order was extended for a further period of six months on the same terms and conditions, as imposed

vide order dated 02.11.2018.

A perusal of the status report indicates that there is little improvement in the condition of the appellant.

The nominal roll indicates that the appellant has already undergone actual custody of one year eight months and thirteen days. He has also earned remission of five months and five days. Considering the medical condition of the petitioner as well as considering the sentence already undergone by the appellant, this Court considers it apposite to suspend the sentence till the hearing of the appeal, on the same terms and conditions as specified in the order dated 02.11.2019. 5.

The applications are disposed of.
