versus STATE ..... Respondent Through Mr. Ashish Negi, Adv. for Ms. Richa Kapoor, ASC ASI Ashok Kumar, P.S. Prashant Vihar
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE ASHUTOSH KUMAR
O R D E R
% 31.10.2017 The petitioner has challenged the order dated 30.05.2017 passed by the competent authority whereby his prayer for being released on parole for the purposes of getting admission of his son has been rejected by the competent authority as the petitioner had by that time not undergone minimum of six months in custody after the termination of the previous parole.
Though six months have now already elapsed but the purpose for which parole was sought is over.
Mr. Ashish Negi, proxy to Ms. Richa Kapoor, ASC has stated that on investigation, it has come to light that the son of the petitioner has already been admitted in a public school in Delhi. As such, there remains no ground to interfere with the order of the competent authority.
The petition is accordingly dismissed.
