This hearing has been done by video conferencing. CM APPL. 19427/2020 2.

The present application has been filed by the Respondent seeking release of the amount lying deposited in the Registry. The submission of the counsels for the parties is that the disputes have been settled vide Settlement Agreement dated 3rd December, 2019. The Settlement Agreement has been placed on record. As per Clause 1(a) of said Settlement Agreement, the amount of Rs.1,03,200/-, is to be released in favour of the Second Party i.e., the Respondent. Ld. counsel for the Appellant also submits that he has no objection if the amount is released.

Accordingly, it is directed that the amount lying in the Registry along with the interest accrued thereon be released in favour of Respondent - Mr. Ravinder Prasad Jain after deducting TDS on the interest component, as may be applicable. The said amount be released in form of a Demand Draft By:PRATHIBA M SINGH

within a period of two weeks from today.

Since the disputes between the parties already stands resolved vide Settlement Agreement dated 3rd December, 2019, the present application is disposed of. RSA 1/2017 is already disposed of by order dated 5th December, 2019.
