% 03.01.2018 Aggrieved by the rejection/ communication dated 25th May, 2017 declining to grant parole to the petitioner, the petitioner preferred the present petition.
On a notice being issued a status report has been filed. As per the status report after the rejection of parole by the competent authority the petitioner was released on furlough for a period of 3 weeks from 10th October, 2017 to 31st October, 2017. It is submitted by learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State that the petitioner has since surrendered to custody.

Considering the fact that the petitioner has been granted furlough post-rejection of the application for grant of parole, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition.
Petition is dismissed.
Copy of this order be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent Tihar Jail.
