The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.745/2015 registered under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC at PS Badarpur. Status report is on record.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties including the counsel for the complainant and have examined the file. On perusal of the file, it reveals that interim bail was granted to the petitioner vide order dated 24.07.2017 and he was directed to join the investigation as and when required. Undisputedly, the petitioner has joined the investigation since then.

Learned counsel for the petitioner further informs that in terms of the order dated 11.12.2017, he has deposited the amount in the account of the complainant.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the petitioner is granted anticipatory bail and in the event of arrest, he be released on furnishing personal bond in the sum of ` 40,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the SHO/Investigating officer. He shall, however, join the investigation as and when required.

The bail application stands disposed of.
