Learned counsel for the petitioner states that in view of the averments made in the counter affidavit, instead of pressing the present petition, he may be permitted to withdraw the same while reserving the right of his client to apply for the post of Navik (GD) as and when fresh advertisement is issued by the respondents for the said purpose. 3.

Leave as prayed for, is granted. The petition is disposed of as not pressed.
