O R D E R
% 08.08.2017 Mr. M.T. Malik, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, on instructions from the latter, states that the amount of Rs.40,000/- deposited with the Registrar General of this Court be released to Ms. Mujermeen towards her entitlement as Mehar, forthwith. The Registry is directed to release the aforesaid amount to Ms. Mujermeen, forthwith.
Mr. Malik, learned counsel further states that the petitioner shall pay the travel expenses of Rs.8,000/-, as directed by this Court, W.P.(CRL) 2003/2017
by way of its order dated 18th July, 2017 to Ms. Mujermeen by Money Order within 40 days from today. The said amount be credited to the account of Ms. Mujermeen's mother, namely, Mrs. Hamsheera, R/o Pipariya, Post-Sisarka, Tehsil- Bisauli, Badaun-243632 bearing Account No. 7197, Punjab National Bank. Lastly, Mr. Malik, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, on instructions, from the latter, seeks leave to withdraw this petition with liberty to institute appropriate proceedings, in accordance with law, including making attempts for rapprochement.
Ms. Mujermeen, who is present in the Court today and who we occasioned to interact with, in Chambers, on the last date of hearing, has categorically stated that she has left her matrimonial home for just and valid reasons and does not want to return to it in the circumstances at this stage.
Leave and liberty granted.
