By this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, the petitioner seeks his release on Parole for a period of three months to enable him to take care of his wife, who is in 7th month pregnancy. 2.
Status report has been filed. Nominal roll has also been received. 3.
Mr. Mehra, learned standing counsel, submits that the medical certificate dated 10.05.2017 placed on record issued by Gouri Hospitals Limited, 30, Malka Ganj Road, Jawahar Nagar, Delhi110007 has been verified and found to be correct. It is mentioned that the petitioner's wife is high risk patient and there is a possibility of pre-term delivery.

As per the medical certificate issued by Medical Officer of Gouri
Hospital Limited dated 10.05.2017, the wife of the petitioner is five months' pregnant with chronic hypertension and super-imposed preeclampsia and is on multiple drugs to control hypertension. She is high risk candidate for abortion, IUGR, pre-term delivery. 5.
In these circumstances, the petitioner be released on Parole for a period of one month from the date of his release on the following terms and conditions: - (i) he shall furnish his personal bond in the sum of Rs.10,000/- with one surety in the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned Jail Superintendent.
(ii) the petitioner shall maintain good conduct and behaviour during his release.
(iii) the petitioner will not leave the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
(iv) he will provide one mobile number of the surety to the SHO of the concerned Police Station.
(v) he shall report to the SHO of the area his presence every Monday and Thursday.

The petition is disposed of accordingly.
