The petitioner seeks anticipatory bail under Section 438 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.213/2017 registered under Sections 376/313 IPC at PS Palam Village. Status report is on record.

I have heard the learned counsel for the parties and have examined the file. By an order dated 24.07.2017, the petitioner was granted interim bail with certain directions / conditions. It is informed that the petitioner has since joined the investigation and charge-sheet has been filed. From the perusal of the status report, it further reveals that the prosecutrix and the petitioner were acquainted with each other.

Physical relations took place between the two on several occasions albeit on the alleged promise to marry. The prosecutrix even became pregnant and the pregnancies were allegedly terminated.

When the marriage between the two did not happen, the present FIR has been lodged.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, interim bail granted vide order dated 24.07.2017 is confirmed on the same terms and conditions.

The bail application stands disposed of.
