Crl.M.C.No. 2837/2017 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR No.394/2014 under Sections 506/420/448/34 IPC registered at police station Sonia Vihar may be quashed. Petitioners and respondent no.2 are living in the same locality and were known to each other.
Respondent no.2 is present in Court and has been identified by ASI D.K.Tyagi of police station Sonia Vihar. She submits that she has settled
the matter of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, therefore, is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed. Settlement agreement dated 14.7.2017 is placed on record and perused.
Keeping in mind that petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably in order to maintain harmonious relations being residents of the same locality and the fact that respondent no.2 is not interested in pursuing the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 394/2014 under Sections 506/420/448/34 IPC registered at police station Sonia Vihar, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
