% 01.10.2018 Learned counsel for the Government of NCT of Delhi states that they would be issuing corrigendum within a period of ten days, modifying impugned notification/circular dated 11th September, 2018, in terms of the decision of the Supreme Court in Justice K.S. Puttaswamy (Retd) and Another versus Union of India and Others, Writ Petition (C) No. 494/2012. The requirement to furnish Aadhaar for school children etc. will not be mandatory.

Recording the aforesaid statement and taking the same on record, we dispose of the present writ petition giving liberty to the petitioner to revive the same if required and necessary.
