% 25.07.2017 Contention of the petitioner is that his date of birth in the website of the respondent has wrongly been uploaded as 30.8.1999; the correct date of birth is 03.8.1999. Additional submission, not in dispute, that in all other records of the respondent his correct date of birth has been mentioned. It is only on the website of the respondent, due to inadvertent error, the date of 30.8.1999 has been mentioned where as correct date of birth of the petitioner is 03.8.1999. Notice has been accepted by the respondent on the last date. He has been directed to take instructions. Instructions have been obtained by the learned counsel for the respondent. The averments made in the petition being admitted and only in the website of the respondent the incorrect date of birth of the

petitioner having been uploaded, this is a fit case where the Department should be directed to correct the date of birth of the petitioner.

Accordingly, the respondent is directed to correct its website and ensure that the correct date of birth of the petitioner (03.8.1999) is shown in the site. This exercise shall be carried out by the respondent within a period of one week.

Petition disposed of.
