% 03.11.2017 The petitioner claims to be squatting at Footpath, opposite SDM Office, M.B. Road, Saidulajab for the past many years. He submits that the officials of the respondents are harassing him and not allowing him to carry out his vending activities.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the area in question is a "no hawking no vending zone". It is also submitted that the petitioner was squatting at the main road and the road in question finds mentioned in the list of roads, which are to be kept encroachment free in terms of order dated 30th May, 2017 passed in W.P.(C) W.P.(C) 6359/2017

No. 4999/2017.

Learned counsel for the petitioner relies on a photograph filed at page 61 of the paper book, to show that he is occupying a very small area. He submits that since he was squatting near the main road, he will relocate himself to an another area close to the present area but not on the main road and will not block free flow of traffic and free movement of pedestrians. Writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
