The appellant has filed the present application seeking to withdraw the captioned appeal. This Court had called for production of the appellant to ascertain the reasons for doing so. He is present in Court and states that he has already served more than five years of his sentence and does not wish to pursue the present appeal any further.

In view of the above, the present application is allowed. The above captioned appeal is dismissed as withdrawn.
