% 24.09.2018 The statements of the alleged victim and two other public witnesses are yet to be recorded. The next date for doing so is scheduled for 23rd of October, 2018. The learned counsel for the State submits that every endeavour shall be made to have the said statements recorded on the said date and a week thereafter and a request shall be made to the Trial Court in this regard.

In view of the above, the learned counsel for the petitioner does not press the petition at this stage and he seeks to withdraw it. It is dismissed as withdrawn.
