W.P.(CRL) 2039/2017 By this petition the petitioner challenges the communication dated 25th May, 2017 rejecting the grant of parole to the petitioner. As per the Nominal Roll received in this Court on 5th July, 2017, in the year 2016 the petitioner was granted one parole and furlough for four times. Further, even in the year 2017, furlough was granted to the petitioner twice. When the order rejecting parole to the petitioner was passed, the petitioner was simultaneously granted furlough for a period of two week W.P.(CRL) 2039/2017

which serves the purpose of petitioner to maintain social ties and looking after his family.

Thus, this Court finds no ground to interfere with the order dated 25th May, 2017 rejecting the parole to the petitioner. The petition is dismissed.

A copy of this Court be communicated to the petitioner through Superintendent, Tihar Jail.
