O R D E R

% 20.07.2017 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably before the Mediation Centre, Saket Courts, New Delhi on 29th February, 2016; therefore, FIR No. 171/2013 under Sections 323/354/34 IPC registered at Police Station Sarita Vihar on the complaint of respondent no. 2, may be quashed. Certified copies of mediation proceedings are placed on record at pages 28 to 30. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Benkatesh Kumar, P.S. Sarita Vihar. Respondent no. 2 submits that she has settled the matter with the

petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent no. 2 further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 before the Mediation Centre, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 171/2013 under Sections 323/354/34 IPC registered at Police Station Sarita Vihar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
