W.P.(CRL) 2976/2018 By this petition, petitioners seek quashing of FIR No.468/2017 under Sections 376/34/506 IPC registered at PS Shakarpur, Delhi on the complaint of respondent No.2 and the proceedings pursuant thereto on the ground that the parties have settled the matter.

Section 376 IPC being a serious offence, FIR in question cannot be quashed on the basis of compromise.

Petition is dismissed.
