% 04.02.2019 Petitioners claim to have been squatting at Sadar Bazar for the past many years pursuant to an allotment made in their favour to squat at the Footpath at the end of old Rohtak Road. Mr.Kamlesh Kumar Mishra, counsel for the petitioners submits that although the allotment made in favour of the petitioners has not been cancelled yet they are not being allowed to squat and vend. Mr.Mishra submits that the petitioners would make a representation to the North Delhi Municipal Corporation and prays that the representation may be decided expeditiously.

Ms.Jyoti Taneja, standing counsel for the North Delhi Municipal Corporation, without admitting any averment made in the writ petition, submits that in case a representation is made by the petitioners, the same would be

decided within six weeks. Needless to say that if the petitioners are aggrieved, they will be at liberty to seek such remedy as available to them in accordance with law.

The writ petition stands disposed.
