CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 25.09.2018 Respondent no.2-Sonia is present in Court and has been identified by ASI Devender Kumar of police station Uttam Nagar. It is submitted that petitioner no. 1 (husband) and respondent no. 2 (wife) are living together for the last more than one year after settling the disputes. Respondent no.2 says that she is not willing to pursue the criminal proceedings against petitioner no.1 and his relatives, that is, petitioner nos. 2 to 4 therefore, FIR No.229/2016 under sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Uttam Nagar and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom may be quashed against the petitioners.

Keeping in mind that husband and wife have started living together after resolving their differences, in my view, no fruitful

purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application stands disposed of as infructuous. Dasti. A.K. PATHAK, J SEPTEMBER 25, 2018 sm
