O R D E R

% 03.12.2018 The ld. counsel for the respondent has handed over a copy of the Office Order dt. 22.11.2018 to the effect that Ms.Rashmi Krishnan, Presiding Officer of Martha Farrell Foundation has been appointed as a Member of the Internal Complaints Committee under section 4 of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition & Redressal) Act, 2013. He assures the Court that the said Committee shall function as per the statute and will promptly look into any complaint that may be filed before it, so as to improve and secure a safe working environment for women employees of the Delhi Fire Services. He submits that, indeed, the first meeting of the said Committee has already taken place. He further submits that the present petition has become infructuous inasmuch as the Closure Report has been filed by the Police and the complainant has herself stated

before the learned Magistrate that she would not like to pursue her complaint. In other words, she would not be filing any protest petition against the said Closure Report. The learned counsel for the petitioner too submits that the lis has since been settled between the parties. In view of the above, the petition stands disposed-off as infructuous.
