O R D E R

% 24.09.2018 The petitioner enjoys anticipatory bail granted by this Court on 24.07.2017 in FIR No. 0645/2016 registered at Police Station Janakpuri, Delhi, apropos a complaint filed by respondent No.2 - his estranged spouse. The lis has since been settled amicably by Settlement dated 28.07.2018 arrived at before the Counselling Cell, Family Court, Dwarka, New Delhi, whereunder the complainant is to be paid an amount of Rs. 21 lacs, as detailed in the aforesaid Settlement. The learned counsel for the parties, upon instructions, submit that a joint application for dissolution of the marriage by mutual consent is to be filed in January, 2019 or any time earlier. The parties undertake to abide by the terms of the said Settlement. Their undertaking is accepted.

In view of the aforesaid, the interim order dated 24.07.2017 is confirmed. The petition, alongwith pending application, stands disposed-off in the above terms.
