$~49 * IN THE HIGH COURT OF DELHI AT NEW DELHI + W.P.(C) 6349/2017 HARVINDER SINGH KHURANA ..... Petitioner Through Mr. Jaskaran Singh, Adv.

versus SOUTH DELHI MUNICIPAL CORPORTION & ORS.

..... Respondents Through Mr. Apurb Lal and Mr. Daleep Singh, Advs for R-1 to 3.

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A. K. CHAWLA

O R D E R

% 26.07.2017 Petitioner has approached this Court for the alleged unauthorised construction being raised. Ld. counsel for the petitioner adverting to the notice, which is to be placed on pg.nos.21-23, submits that the construction is being raised for religious purposes by a trust in the name and style of Anand Samagam Charity Trust / Gurudwara.

Petitioner by himself is a resident of Naveen Shahdra, New Delhi and on being queried, he states that he is a staunch devotee and visits Gurudwara at Rajouri Garden and Golden Temple at Amritsar only. He submits that he did not find any unauthorised construction in Golden Temple nor made any similar RTI application, as has come to be made in the instant case, for any other religions place. Strange are the ways, in which the petitioner has chosen to conduct. Be that as it

may, it is a matter that requires to be looked in by the concerned municipal authority for the alleged violation(s) of any law(s) or bye-law(s). It is therefore, directed that the instant petition shall be taken to be a representation and necessary action be taken by the respondents, as expeditiously, as possible.

Petition stands disposed off accordingly.
