% 28.09.2018 IA 13362/2018 Exemption allowed subject to all just exceptions. OMP(MISC)(COMM) 289/2018 This petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 has been filed by the petitioner seeking extension of time for making of the Award by the Sole Arbitrator.

Counsel for the respondent who appears on an advance notice submits that the respondent has no objection if the time for making of the Award is extended by this Court. The petition is also supported by the affidavit of the authorized representative of the respondent. Having perused the contents of the petition and no objection expressed by the counsel for the respondent, the time for making of the Award by the Sole Arbitrator is extended by a further period of six months with effect from 17.09.2018.
