O R D E R

% 29.10.2018 This petition has been filed under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereinafter referred to as the 'Act') seeking extension of time for making of the Award by the Sole Arbitrator adjudicating the disputes that have arisen between the parties. The learned counsel for the respondent submits that the respondent has grave apprehension on the conduct of the arbitration proceedings by the Sole Arbitrator. The respondent has also filed a separate application under Section 14 of the Act seeking termination of the mandate of the Arbitrator being O.M.P. (T) (COMM.) 106/2018. The said application has been withdrawn by the respondent reserving liberty to raise its contention at an appropriate stage, if required.

In view of the above and as the arbitration proceedings are at final

stage, the time for making of the Award is extended by further period of six months with effect from today. This order shall not, however, cause prejudice to either party in any proceedings. The petition is allowed in the above terms, with no order as to cost. Dasti.
