% 30.01.2019 The petitioner seeks bail. He has been incarcerated since 24.02.2011. He is being tried of offences punishable under sections 396/34 IPC. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State submits that till date 40 witnesses have been examined. The remaining witnesses are government officials or police officers.
The Court is of the view that the petitioner have no sway over them, therefore, there cannot be any possibility apropos his influencing the trial. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State submits that the petitioner has also been tried for offences punishable under sections 302/120B IPC. According to him one innocent person has been murdered. He submits that in view of the long pendency, every endeavour shall be made to complete recording of the evidence in the next four weeks and the
parties would request the Trial Court to expedite the hearing of the case and dispose it off, preferably within a period of six months. The application stands disposed-off in the above terms. NAJMI WAZIRI, J JANUARY 30, 2019 RW
