% 20.11.2017 Respondent no.2 (complainant) Ms. Sana Parveen is present in Court and has been identified by SI Ramesh Kumar of police station Chandni Mahal.
She submits that she has settled the matter with petitioner no.1 before the Principal Judge, Family Courts, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi on 15th October, 2015. She says that she has settled the matter with petitioner no.1 of her own free will and without any undue, force, pressure or coercion and has already received the entire settled amount. She further says that she has no objection if FIR No.47/2011 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station Chandni Mahal is quashed against the petitioner no.1 and his mother, that is, petitioner no.2.
Keeping in mind that a settlement has been arrived at between the parties voluntarily and respondent no.2 has no objection in quashing of the FIR, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous.
