Crl.M.C.No. 2832/2017 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably, therefore, FIR No.137/2017 under Sections 308/34 IPC registered at police station Moti Nagar may be quashed. Petitioners and respondent no.2 are living in the same locality and were known to each other.
Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with his counsel and has
been identified by ASI Krishan Singh of police station Moti Nagar. He submits that he has settled the matter of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion, therefore, is not willing to pursue the FIR and the same may be quashed.
Keeping in mind that petitioners and respondent no.2 have settled the their disputes amicably in order to maintain harmonious relations being residents of same locality and the fact that respondent no.2 is not interested in pursuing the FIR, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 137/2017 under Sections 308/34 IPC registered at police station Moti Nagar, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
