W.P.(CRL) 2096/2017 The present petition seeks a writ in the nature of habeas corpus directing the official respondents to produce Ms. Sapna Vishwas, the 20 year old daughter of the petitioner.

The Delhi Police has produced the hitherto missing person, Ms. Sapna Vishwas, before the Court today.

Upon enquiry, it transpires that Ms. Sapna Vishwas, whose date of birth is 9th March, 1997, left her parental home of her own free will and W.P.(CRL) 2096/2017

desire on 28th March, 2017, to marry Mukul, the adopted son of Manoj Kumar R/o RZH6, Veer Nagar, West Sagarpur, Nangal Raya, Delhi-110046. The following documents in original have been handed over to us in the Court today by Ms. Sapna Vishwas:

Aadhaar Card of Mr. Manoj Kumar.

2.

Aadhaar Card of Ms. Sapna Vishwas.

3.

Marriage Certificate of Mr. Mukul and Ms. Sapna Vishwas. 4.

Secondary School Examination Marksheet of Ms. Sapna Vishwas issued by the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi.

A perusal of the same reveals that Ms. Sapna Vishwas was an adult on the day she had married Mukul i.e. on 20th March, 2017 at Arya Samaj Mandir (Trust), 71-72, IInd Floor, Gokhale Market, behind Tis Hazari Court. Photocopy of the aforesaid documents are taken on record. In view of the foregoing, no further directions are called for in the present petition. The present petition is accordingly disposed off.
