% 31.07.2017 It is submitted that petitioner no. 1 and respondent no. 2 have resolved their differences and are living together for the last two years; therefore, FIR No. 332/2015 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station K.N. Katju Marg, on the complaint of respondent no. 2, may be quashed. Petitioner nos. 2 to 4 are relatives of petitioner no. 1. Respondent no.2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by ASI Yag Dutt, P.S. KNK Marg.

Respondent no. 2 submits that she has settled the matter with the petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion.

Respondent no. 2 further submits that

she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further and the same may be quashed.

Keeping in mind the fact that husband and wife have started living together, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending.

Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 332/2015 under Sections 498-A/406/34 IPC registered at Police Station K.N. Katju Marg, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed. Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
