Respondent no. 3 is present in court along with her mother. She is being represented by her counsel.

She is duly identified by IO SI Rajpal Singh.

2.

The petitioner has invoked the writ jurisdiction of this court under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (in short 'Cr.PC') for quashing of the FIR bearing No.252/2013, registered against him on 16.05.2013 with Police Station Uttam Nagar, Delhi under Section 341/506/354-A IPC on the complaint of respondent No.3.

3.

It is submitted by the Additional Standing Counsel for the State through the IO that charge sheet has been filed against the petitioner. 4.

On making a reference by the learned MM, the parties appeared before the learned Mediator, Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari W.P. (CRL.) 2182/2017

Court, Delhi. On 14th January, 2015, both the parties had amicably resolved and settled their disputes.

By way of settlement, the petitioner had undertaken not to cause any nuisance, disturbance or quarrel with the respondent No.3 and her family members and he assured not to visit near their house in future. 5.

Parties as also their learned counsels submit that subsequent to the mediation settlement, the petitioner and respondent No.3 performed their marriage as per Hindu rites and ceremonies on 17th January, 2015. They submit that they could not reconcile with each other and have been living separately.

6.

The respondent No.3 present in the Court states that she has amicably settled the matter with the petitioner. She submits that in view of the settlement, she does not want to pursue the said FIR. She further submits that the said FIR may be quashed.

7.
