% 13.02.2017 After some arguments, learned senior counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw the petition. He states that the petitioner shall surrender. However, he has apprehensions that he may be maltreated.
Subject to the petitioner surrendering on 17.02.2017 before 05:00 p.m., it is directed that before taking him into custody, he shall be got examined at All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi (AIIMS)
and thereafter he shall be produced for examination at AIIMS at every 24 hours. The petitioner shall be entitled to be accompanied by a counsel during his interrogation, who shall be able to see him during interrogation, but shall not be within the hearing distance of the same. The petition stands disposed of as withdrawn in the aforesaid terms. Dasti.
