% 02.11.2018 Petitioner no. 1 is present in Court along with his counsel. Petitioner no. 1 is also attorney of petitioner no. 2, who is his wife. Photocopy of Special Power of Attorney has been placed on record. Respondent no. 2 Kashi Nath Shukla is present in Court along with his counsel. It is submitted that matter has been settled between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 amicably and without any undue force, pressure or coercion; therefore, FIR No. 162/2014 under Section 409 registered at Police Station Barakhamba Road and consequent proceedings emanating

therefrom may be quashed.

Photocopies of the Settlement Agreements dated 26th March, 2015 and 8th November, 2016 have been placed on record. Respondent no. 2 submits that he has no objection in case the aforesaid FIR and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed. Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.

Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
